I have blogged many times about the Bill Of Rights Monument Project that Chris Bliss has been leading in Arizona. He's making progress, having secured a site, a sculptor, and permission, but is still in need of donations (which you can make here) to complete the installation. A few months ago, he organized a comedy concert as a fundraiser, and got an amazing list of comedians -- who make their living thanks to the First Amendment -- to appear: Lewis Black, Dick Gregory, Father Guido Sarducci (Don Novello), Bill Engvall, Kathleen Madigan, Bobcat Goldthwait, Tom Smothers, and Steven Wright.
